Lemon: Lemon is acidic but helps create an alkalizing effect in the body once it enters the bloodstream and is rich in Vitamin C to help boost your immune system
GREEN
Kale: Kale is one of the most alkalizing rich foods out there and full of vitamins and minerals. It has a great amount of chlorophyll which has an important effect of alkalizing the body

BLUE
Blueberries: Blueberries protect your brain.TOTALLY AWESOME,right? Like other berries they are low on Glycemic index and they help with anti-inflammatory efforts. You can also eat frozen blueberries because it does not affect their antioxidant benefits. Organic is the best way to go, but all blueberries ROCK and taste great!
ORANGE
Turmeric: What the heck is Turmeric you ask? It’s an amazing medicinal spice with anti-inflammatory effects from India. Some research states that cancer rates in India are much lower than in the United States. It is said to help significantly with prevention/treatment of esophageal, oral, mammary, colon, and prostate cancers. I sprinkle it on a bunch of dishes. Tons of recipes online, google away.
BROWN
Flaxseed: Flaxseeds are the richest source of Omega 3 fatty acids. They truly help in causing an anti-inflammatory effect in the body. You can bake them into cookies and breads or throw them in a smoothie. So many possibilities.
