Chocolate chip granola/protein bar

chocolate chip granola bar with banana chipsI have been making our granola bars at home for a while now.  Every week I am trying different flavors.  This time I added some crushed banana chips to add an extra flavor in there.  I hope you like it!

 

2 cups of Granola(I used Trader Joe’s granola)

1/2 cup of Fuel 6 Pea Protein Powder

1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup corn syrup, agave, or honey(might need more  so adjust when all ingredients are combined)

1/2 cup of crushed banana chips

1/2 cup chia/flax/coconut mixture

Mix it all up, adding more liquid sweetener as needed. Make sure to line a square pan with parchment paper so mixture does not stick. Press mixture evenly in pan. Set aside or chill for about 2 hours.  Cut into 10 bars and enjoy!!
