Brownie granola protein bars

1/2 cup chocolate chips

2 tablespoons water

2 tablespoons brown sugar or coconut palm sugar

1/2 cup of raw agave or honey or light corn syrup Mix these ingredients and using a microwave dish cook for 1 1/2 minutes on high, Stir and set aside.

Blend all these dry ingredients by hand:

2 cups Quick cook oats

1 chocolate chip rice cake crushed well(or 1 cup crisped rice cereal)

1/4 cup chia/flax/coconut mix ( you can use just chia and/or flax)

3 scoops of pea protein powder(optional) Dash of salt Take sweet liquid mixture and fold in the dry ingredients stirring until all dry is moistened. It is ok to add additional honey or agave as needed. Spread mixture into a square pan that is lined with parchment paper or foil and smack down with back of spatula or big spoon until evenly spread. Chill for 1/2 hour. Cut into 10-12 bars and bag individually. Store for 1 week in fridge. Enjoy!
